Post from fairlypriced at gamespot
Yes my Burning Crusade (BC) discs arrived this morning:
World of Warcraft expansion discs

I bought 2 copies at Amazon and 2 at Play.com just to make sure. So far the play.com discs with free delivery arrived (about 10am). I paid for express delivery with Amazon and still no show. Well done Play – very impressed.

I will be heading down to the HMV Midnight launch tonight (with a few other from gamespot) to get my copy signed – I suspect I’ll end up having to buy a HMV copy to – well you can’t have too much wow.

I have 2 wow accounts and the rest are for friends but I suspect a sell out and then the ebay frenzy will start. Anyway good luck to all those queueing tonight.

Scavenger Hunt 4 - originally uploaded by Scavenger Hunt

Today was the 4th Flickr London Scavenger Hunt.

Organised by user Paul aka Blech and friends – We met near London’s Liverpool Street Station.

I didn’t know exactly what to expect. It all seemed a bit vague and mysterious from the listing on Upcoming and the odd post I had read about it on flickr. Secret envelopes, teams, assignments etc. However, me being me, I signed up to join anyway. After receiving a Flickrmail confirming this morning I eagerly set out (camera in hand).

I arrived 2mins late and so was surprised to see the turnout – just 1 other person. It wasn’t long before a couple more arrived and the event could begin. There were 3 teams competing this week of which we were the smallest due to some no shows.

We were provided with a list of cryptic clues/tasks and a map. The clues were varied from simple to fiendish. Fortunately, one member of my team was very good at solving them and knew the streets of London well.

Despite our smaller team size we managed to get through the majority of the list and reach the finish line first. The items we left off were either too cryptic or we were too tired to do any more walking. For being first back we were rewarded with chocolate!

We travelled from Liverpool Street to Tower bridge to Brick Lane and everywhere in between.

The experience – I got to meet some fellow Flickr addicts, got to see parts of London I haven’t been to before, got some more camera practice and hopefully will win something.

It looks like this will continue to be a regular event so if anyone is interested in joining the fun get yourself a Flickr account and join the The London Flickr Scavenger Hunt group.
